iscovered and illustrated some years ago by Brian Loomes, this is an exceptionally rare and unique 8-day, three train quarter chiming 'iron' ting-tang by Thomas Royle of Whitehaven and commissioned by John Whitehead in 1744. Housed in its original high quality oak case, which is in a fabulous condition.
